Every foreigner who wants to work in Singapore must have an appropriate and valid work pass issued by the Ministry of Manpower, Government of Singapore. Your prospective employer is responsible for applying and securing a work pass on your behalf. As an employee you are responsible for safe keeping of your work pass, and produce it for inspection when demanded by officials of the government.
